The Roanoke County Department of Parks and Recreation announced there will be limited access to the basketball and tennis courts, bathrooms and the picnic pavilion at Garst Mill Park as new sewer lines are installed in October and possibly November. Wildlife Rescue seeks donations
Roanoke Wildlife Rescue, a volunteer organization that rescues, rehabilitates and releases wildlife needs the following supplies to help treat animals: cleaning supplies, linens, paper towels, caging equipment, animal food, syringes and bandaging materials, and postage stamps.
The group also needs a laser printer, an incubator and lab equipment.
