COLES, LIBERTY ROLL 37-0

Liberty quarterback J.J. Coles picked apart the Nelson County secondary, throwing for 149 yards and four touchdowns, as the Minutemen marched to a 37-0 victory Friday night in Seminole District football.

Coles connected on touchdown passes of 31, 42, 16 and 27 yards. Gregg Reynolds caught two of Coles' scoring strikes for Liberty (5-1 overall and in the district). Robert Carson and Cory Gilmore also caught touchdown passes, and Jerry Staples ran 32 yards for a touchdown.

Nelson County's record slipped to 1-3, 1-3.
