Cheek-Beamer
Sara Ann Beamer and Frederick Robert Cheek were married on October Seventh at Second Presbyterian Church in Roanoke. Dr. William R. Klein performed the ceremony which was followed by a reception at Roanoke Country Club. Miss Beamer, daughter of Mrs. John Patrick Breslin of Roanoke and the late M. Franklin Beamer, was given in marriage by her brother, Robert Franklin Beamer. Her gown was Ecru Dupione silk with a basque bodice of alencon lace embroidered in pearls and sequins. The full skirt extended to a chapel length train and her finger tip veil fell from a Juliet cap.
The matron of honor was Kathryn Kistler Craft of Greensboro, North Carolina. Other attendants were Ellen Smallwood Peete, also of Greensboro, Caroline Coffer Collier of Tampa, Florida, Mary Comer Smith of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Anne Christine Cheek of Baltimore, Maryland, and Kathleen Snow Dempsey of McLean, Virginia.
Mr. Cheek is the son of Margaret Gessner Cheek of Baltimore and Carl Wayne Cheek of Atlanta. His best man was his brother, Carl Wayne Cheek, II of Baltimore. Groomsmen were Kelly Brent Adams of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Timothy McGuire of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Michael Anthony Cavanaugh and Dean Mantzouris, both of Baltimore.
The bride and groom are graduates of James Madison University. After a wedding trip they will make their home in Baltimore.

Anna Katherine Booze and Mark Andrew Colton were married Saturday, September 30, 1995, at the home of Mr. Willie Alexander Ransone, Jr., grandfather of the bride. The minister, James Wayne Poucher of Buchanan, Va., officiated at the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Katherine (Kitty) Ransone Booze and Webster Elmore Booze, Jr., of Buchanan, Va. The bride is a graduate of James River High School and James Madison University. She is a technical writer for the Claritas Corporation in Arlington, Va.
The groom is the son of Michael James Colton of Woodbridge, Va., and Darlene Drury Colton of New Orleans, La. The groom graduated from James Madison University and is employed by CDA Investment Technologies of Rockville, Maryland.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. The bride was attended by her friend from childhood, Pamela Sue Watts of Buchanan, Va. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Ann Porten of Arlington, Va., Kristen Blair Booze of Buchanan, Va., and Sarah Jesse Strain of Roanoke, Va.
The groom's best man was his brother, John Randolph Colton of Virginia Beach, Va. Groomsmen were Greg Howland Gattis of Woodbridge, Va., and the brother of the bride, Webster Elmore Booze III of Greenville, Tennessee.

Steve is the son of Mrs. Violet Gallia of Roanoke and the late Joseph Gallia and is the Owner/Broker of Coldwell Banker Valley View, REALTORS.
After a honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean, the couple will return to their home in Roanoke.

Angela Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Teddy Woolwine and the late Donald Wray Smith, all of Christiansburg, and Christopher Jay Gasser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Joseph Gasser of Fairfax Station, Virginia, were married Saturday, June 24, 1995 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Christiansburg. Reverend Douglas Kanney officiated. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Blacksburg Marriott.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her stepfather and brother, and given in marriage by her brother. Jennifer Pittman of Ashburn, Virginia, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Mays of Baltimore, Maryland, Carol Green of Centreville, Virginia, and Pamela Jones of Memphis, Tennessee, all friends of the bride, and Rhonda Atkinson of Fairfax Station, Virginia, sister of the groom.

Howard-Stingley
April Lynette Stingley and Anthony A. Howard were united in marriage September 23 in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Sadler officiated. The reception was held at the Rev. S.L. Reynolds Fellowship Hall at the church.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
The bride wore a white, long sleeved princess lace bridal gown. Lace medallions, sequins and pearls adorned the neckline and V-back. Lace over satin bodice and cuffs of the long lace sleeves with a chapel-length train. A fingertip-length veil adorned with sequins, silk roses and pearls completed the look. A bouquet of white stephanotis, white lilies, wine and white roses, accented by ivy, was carried by the bride.
The maid of honor was Mona Adams. Bridesmaids were Tammy Eubank and Jill Mays. Flowergirl was Meredith Dudding, all friends of the bride and groom.
The groom's father was best man. Groomsmen were Earl Eubank, fiend of the bride and groom; and Joey McClung, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Robert Lacks, friend of the bride and groom.
