Josh Whitley, knocked out of last week's game, returned to lead the Panthers (5-2) on offense, going 16-for-23 for 174 yards and two touchdowns. He connected with John Poindexter on 12 of those completions for 131 yards and a touchdown. Poindexter's 12 grabs set a school record.
Ferrum punted only once as it controlled the ball for 35:35. The Panthers rolled up 373 yards of total offense - 199 on the ground and 174 through the air.
