RADFORD - The Radford Christmas parade is Monday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m.
Businesses, organizations and groups interested in participating in the parade are urged to begin planning now for this annual event.
There will be awards for parade entries in several categories.
The Radford Kiwanis Club will sponsor the parade.

Christmas store applications
CHRISTIANSBURG - Applications for the Montgomery County Christmas Store must be postmarked by Friday, Dec. 1, in order to be considered for the 1995 season. This represents a change in policy from previous years.
Store hours are 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; noon-9 p.m., Wednesdays; 10 a.m.-1 p.m Saturdays.
The Montgomery County Christmas Store needs good, used children's winter clothing, especially jeans and costs.
Used goods are accepted at the store. The Montgomery County Christmas Store opens Monday, Oct. 30.
Christmas store membership meeting
CHRISTIANSBURG - The Montgomery County Christmas Store will hold a membership meeting on Monday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m., in the Montgomery Regional Hospital cafeteria.
The meeting is open to the public.
Volunteers are needed to help with store set-up, sorting and decorating.
