Roanoke (5-4), winner of three of its past four, is coming off a 19-0 loss at the West Virginia Lightning last Saturday. The game against Delaware (0-7) will count as two wins for the victor. The previous game between the two teams was canceled and could not be made up.
The Rush season was scheduled to end next Saturday with a game against the Carolina Stars. However, the Stars franchise folded a month ago and has forfeited the rest of its schedule. Because of the Carolina situation, the Rush will have a extra week to prepare for the playoffs starting on Nov.4.

Washington and Lee sophomore Natalia Garcia defeated Dana Johnson from Luther 6-4, 6-4 to capture fifth place at the Rolex National Small College Tennis Championships in Boca Raton, Fla. Garcia teamed with Julie Ayers in doubles play to knock off Paulina Sierra and Anabel Flores from Washington 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
Brett Harrell scored in the 78th minute to give Appalachian State (9-7, 4-2) a 1-0 victory over VMI (7-9, 1-4) in Southern Conference men's soccer action in Lexington.
Sam Chase scored four goals as the Washington & Lee men's soccer team ripped Lynchburg 7-2 in Lexington. W&L is 7-7, 4-5 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Lynchburg is 1-15-1, 1-8.
Freshman Marianna Tysse scored her seventh goal of the season as UNC Charlotte (8-7-2) defeated the Radford women's soccer team 2-0 in Tampa, Fla. Radford fell to 4-10-1.
In Dayton, Ohio, Adam Johnson scored the lone goal as the Virginia Tech men's soccer team defeated Dayton 1-0 for an Atlantic 10 victory. John Sexton had seven saves for Tech (6-8-2 overall, 5-3-2 Atlantic 10). Dayton fell to 4-10-1, 1-6-1.
