I-81 RAMPS IN BOTETOURT TO CLOSE FOR PAVING

As long as the sun shines, the southbound Interstate 81 interchange ramps at Exit 150 in Botetourt County will be closed Saturday morning for paving.

The off-ramp at Exit 150A will close first for about two to three hours. As an alternate route, motorists can exit I-81 at Exit 150B or continue to Exit 146 at Hollins.

The I-81 southbound on-ramp at Exit 150B will close for paving after work is completed on the Exit 150A off-ramp. U.S. 11 south to Exit 146 at Hollins will be open for traffic while the ramp is closed.

Signs will direct motorists to the alternate routes. Any questions about paving should be directed to the Virginia Department of Transportation's Salem Residency Office at 387-5488.
