SHAWSVILLE BEATEN 47-20

James River opened a big first-half lead to coast to its seventh victory in eight games, beating Shawsville 47-20 in a non-district football contest Saturday night.

The Knights were paced by Shahan Burrell with 158 yards rushing and two touchdowns while Travis Blankenship passed for 119 yards, scored a touchdown and passed for another.

Shawsville (2-6) was led by Chris Graham, who threw for 192 yards, scored a touchdown and passed for another.
