Starting today, 48 home economists and nutritionists stand ready to field your every turkey-related inquiry, from the best way to thaw one of the birds to how to transport it and what to do with its leftovers.

The new shorter turkey-roasting timetables should generate quite a few queries. Callers also should request the company's free pamphlet of recipes, tips and coupons and ask about the picture-perfect turkey video, which costs $3.50.
