SOCIAL SECURITY PROGRAM THURSDAY|

John Danforth, former Republican U.S. Senator from Missouri and a member of the Bi-Partisan Commission on Entitlement, will be featured on a live satellite broadcast Thursday, Nov. 2, from 5 until 6 p.m.

The program, sponsored by J.T. Stade and the Edward D. Jones & Co., focuses on the present and future status of Social Security programs. Danforth has said, "The debate on Social Security has a lot of people feeling confused and concerned." He hopes to ease concerns by discussing the proposed reforms to the current system.

The program will be broadcast via Edward D. Jones & Co.'s satellite network to the firm's 3,100 offices nationwide. Organizers encourage viewers to take advantage of the program's interactive aspect by calling in with their questions and concerns. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
