WOMAN ROBBED WHILE DRIVING BY STORE

An 18-year-old woman was robbed as she drove by a grocery store Wednesday night in the 1000 block of Lafayette Boulevard in Northwest Roanoke. She was not injured.

Roanoke police said Heather Elizabeth Neale of Oxford Avenue Southwest told them a man grabbed her arm as she drove slowly in front of a store about 8 p.m. She stalled her car. The man demanded her wallet, which contained about $50. She gave it to him. He took the money, then tossed the wallet back into her car and told her to leave the area.

No arrest has been made.
