The picture of stars being born in a 6 trillion-mile-long gas cloud was released Thursday by NASA.
With the picture turned on its side, what appears to be a shadowy face can be seen.
``There have been dozens, if not hundreds'' of calls, said Steve Gallien of CNN.
To see the shadowy face even faintly, a viewer would have to have an exceptionally clear copy of the photograph and hold it in a particular orientation.
