Moles scored 11 of her 15 points in the fourth quarter and Underwood had 10 of her 17 in the period as Auburn, which trailed by three going into the final period, outscored the Spartans 27-14.
Susan Wirt led the Eagles, who will play top-seeded Floyd County in a semifinal tonight at Christiansburg High School, with a game-high 18 points. Amy Davis added 11.
Giles was led by Keli Ratcliffe, who scored 16 points, and Kristen White, who added 12.
New River
Carroll County 45, Christiansburg 33: The Cavaliers used man-to-man pressure defense to force five first-quarter steals as they took an early lead and cruised to a semifinal victory over the Blue Demons in Hillsville.
Carroll County (15-7) will take on Blacksburg, a team it lost to twice during the regular season, in the tournament final at 7:30 p.m. today in Blacksburg. Carroll County also advances to the Region IV tournament next week and will be home for a first-round game against the Highlands District runner-up.
Bethany Hill led the Cavaliers with a game-high 11 points and Talisha Clontz added nine.
Christiansburg (7-15) was led by Lisa Dalton and Stewart Milton, who each scored eight.
Seminole
Jefferson Forest 52, Staunton River 41: Kristin Lowe had 16 points to lead the Cavaliers past the Golden Eagles in a quarterfinal at Liberty University in Lynchburg.
Jefferson Forest (15-6) bolted to a 27-14 halftime lead and never was threatened. Jennifer Childress added 10 points for the Cavaliers.
Staunton River (14-7) got 13 points from Beth Davis and 10 from Stephanie McCarty.
Rustburg won Wednesday's other quarterfinal, beating Amherst County 47-45.
In tonight's semifinals, Brookville faces Jefferson Forest in the first game, followed by Liberty against Rustburg.
Hogoheegee
for 42 points as the Blue Devils advanced to the final with a victory over the Maroons in Bristol.
Woodward had 23 points and Prater scored 19 for Northwood (19-2). Crystal Kestner added 13 for the Blue Devils, who advance to the final against Castlewood, a 54-41 winner over Patrick Henry-Glade Spring.
Tabitha Cook scored 14 points and Megan Johnson added 13 for George Wythe, which finishes its season with a 12-8 record.
Tuesday's games
Liberty 56, Altavista 39: In the Seminole District tournament at Liberty University, the Minettes pulled away in the second half to advance to a semifinal.
Charity Bryant had three field goals in the third quarter to help Liberty (17-4) open a 10-point lead. Then, Felicia Miller scored seven of her game-high 17 in the final quarter when Liberty outscored Altavista 22-15.
The Colonels (8-13) were led by Krystal Arruda, with 13 points.
Parry McCluer 64, Highland 31: Senior Chrystal Humphries, playing her final home game, led the Fighting Blues past the Rams in a Pioneer District quarterfinal in Buena Vista.
Humphries scored a game-high 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Parry McCluer (13-6), which will take on Covington at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Dabney Lancaster Community College in Covington.
Patrick County 56, Laurel Park 53, 2OT: In the Piedmont District, Amy Nelson scored all of her team's six points in the second overtime as the Cougars edged the Lancers in a quarterfinal in Stuart.
Nelson scored a game-high 26 points for Patrick County. Laurel Park (10-11), which beat the Cougars in the regular-season finale, was led by Tiffany Lynch with 16 points.
