FIGURE SKATERS COMING TO ROANOKE

The winter Tour of World Figure Skating Champions will visit the Roanoke Civic Center for a performance Friday, Feb.9 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the big-name show go on sale Monday.

The skaters among the Olympic medalists scheduled to appear include Oksana Baiul, Michelle Kwan, Nicole Bobek, Brian Boitano, Viktor Petrenko and Scott Davis and pairs teams Jenni Meno and Todd Sand and Calla Urbanski and Rocky Marval.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. at the civic center box office and all Ticketmaster locations (1-800-943-4327 or 343-8100). Tickets are priced at $35, with groups of 20 or more saving $3 per person.
