Hull, a graduate of Rockbridge County High School, recorded 94 tackles and a conference-best 14 sacks in 1995. Hull became the sixth defensive lineman to receive the award. (All-ODAC team in Scoreboard. B4)
``He is most deserving,'' said Frank Miriello, the Generals' coach. ``He was the whole four-year deal. He had numbers people dream about. He wrote the book for us.''
Hull was joined on the first team by three teammates - quarterback Brooks Fischer, offensive tackle Robert Turner and defensive back Stuart Hogue.
Second-teamers from W&L were wide receiver James Urban, the ODAC's receptions leader, offensive lineman Andy Statton, defensive back Butler Ball and punter Drew Thomas.
Emory & Henry's Lou Wacker won his fourth ODAC coach of the year award.

The Virginia Tech women's basketball team will play its only preseason scrimmage at 7 p.m. tonight against Ferencvarosi Torna Club of Hungary at Cassell Coliseum. Tech opens the season Nov.24 at Stetson.
Virginia Tech is the preseason choice to win the men's Atlantic 10 Conference indoor track and field title in balloting by the league's coaches. Following the Hokies in the poll were: Rhode Island, Temple, St.Joseph's, Massachusetts, La Salle and Fordham.
Massachusetts was the choice in the women's poll, followed (in order) by Rhode Island, Tech, Temple, St.Joseph's, La Salle, Dayton, Fordham and Duquesne.
The Miracle Bowl, featuring little league football teams and cheerleaders from Roanoke, Bedford, Roanoke County, Bedford County and Campbell County, will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Staunton River High School Stadium in Moneta. The proceeds from the game will benefit children's health care in the Lynchburg-Roanoke area. Approximately 1,000 children will participate in these games.
Sue Given of Roanoke won the women's masters division of the Columbus Marathon in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday. Given completed the 26.2-mile course in 3 hours, 6 minutes. Gary Adkins of Roanoke placed fifth in the men's masters division in 2:50.
