ANOTHER PLAQUE FOR BLACKSBURG

The town has been presented an Excellence in Financial Reporting award for the 16th consecutive year. The award comes from the Government Finance Officers Association, which includes municipalities in the United States and Canada. "We don't have enough space to hang these things," joked Blacksburg Mayor Roger Hedgepeth.
