KENNETH E. WIDENER, field representative for Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society, was recognized for outstanding life insurance service during the 45th annual convention of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors at Bloomington, Minn. He has been a representative in the Roanoke area for 10 years.

THE ROANOKE ATHLETIC CLUB has announced several staff changes. Michelle Hartless, previously membership services assistant, is now membership services supervisor, and Ray Houff, formerly a lifeguard, is now housekeeping/maintenance supervisor.

Angela Kral, formerly with the All Sport Fitness and Racquetball Club in Fishkill, N.Y., has been hired as staff supervisor, and Chris Padgett has been hired as a sales representative. He came to the RAC as an intern.

JUDY FERRIS of Roanoke won a $1,000 shopping spree at Moore's Lumber and Building Supplies in a sweepstakes sponsored by Rally's Restaurant.

RANDY ALLEN, assistant service manager at Magic City Ford, is a 1994 Medallion Award winner. The medallion program, sponsored nationally by Ford Motor Co., recognizes employees in service, parts and body shops who excel in providing customer satisfaction.
