Iverson and freshman Victor Page combined for 42 points and put on a dynamic display of fast-break tag Saturday as the fifth-ranked Hoyas defeated Temple 74-49 in the second round of the Preseason NIT in Landover, Md.
Georgetown (2-0) will play Georgia Tech in the semifinals Wednesday at Madison Square Garden. Temple fell to 1-1.
Iverson, who didn't practice Friday after being hurt in Thursday night's first-round victory over Colgate, and fellow guard Page accounted for all of Georgetown's points over an 18-minute span beginning with 51/2 minutes to go in the first half. Page and Iverson outscored Temple 22-9 over that stretch.
The Iverson-Page show featured of one fast-break assist after another. Early in the second half, Page shoveled a 40-foot pass to Iverson for a dunk, and Page leaned over a Temple defender to slam in Iverson's alley-oop pass for Georgetown's next score.
After a Temple basket, Iverson guided in Page's feed on the alley-oop to give the Hoyas a 50-30 lead with 13:47 remaining.
Iverson, who had 24 points, was believed to have strained his shoulder in a fall during Thursday's game. The sophomore also required eight stitches for a cut above his eye after banging heads with another player in the same game.
Page finished with 18 points, including a coast-to-coast, fast-break dunk that lit up the crowd and gave the Hoyas a 41-27 lead late in the half. The halftime score was 42-27.
Johnny Miller, with 21 points, was the high scorer for Temple, which never led.

Albright 85, Washington and Lee 77: Summer Hemphill scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Albright past Washington and Lee in the consolation game of the Washington and Lee Tip-Off Tournament in Lexington.
The Generals (0-2) led 30-17 midway through the first half, but Albright (1-1) went on a 19-5 run to close out the half and take the lead. The Generals tied the score at 56 on Eric Zavolinsky's two free throws with 10:42 left before Albright scored 10 straight to take command.
The Generals were led by Derek Carter, who scored 18 and Jonathan Coffman added 17.
Emory 62, Kenyon 46: Jonathan Sack scored 15 points to lead Emory past Kenyon in the championship game of the Washington and Lee Tip-Off Tournament.
Sack, who scored 21 in Emory's 89-86 overtime win over Washington and Lee on Friday, was named the tournament's most valuable player.
Kenyon (1-1) was led by Che' Smith, who scored a game-high 18 points.

Washington and Lee 89, Emory 86, OT: Jonathan Sacks scored 21 points as Emory rallied to beat the Generals in the opening round of the Washington and Lee Tip-off Tournament in Lexington, spoiling Kevin Moore's debut as the Generals' coach.
W&L led 31-16 early and held a 74-71 lead with less than two seconds remaining in regulation when Sack drilled a three-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. Blake Hollander and Sack hit back-to-back three-pointers early in the overtime to give the Eagles a lead they would not surrender.
Washington and Lee senior forward Cam Dyer scored a game-high 26 points, including the 1,000th point of his career on a dunk with 19 seconds left in overtime. Jonathan Coffman added 21 for the Generals.
In the opening round, Dontay Hardnett scored 23 points as Kenyon defeated Albright 81-74.
Georgia Tech 83, Oklahoma 72: In Atlanta, Drew Barry made four free throws in the final 40 seconds and the Yellow Jackets withstood an Oklahoma comeback from a 17-point deficit in the Preseason NIT.
The Yellow Jackets (2-0) built a 73-56 lead on a free throw by Gary Saunders with 8:22 remaining, but scored only two more baskets before Stephon Marbury's 12-footer with 58 seconds to play built the lead to 79-72.
Ryan Minor, who led the Sooners (1-1) with 26 points, sparked the comeback, scoring nine points in a row to trim the lead to 77-65 with 5:00 to play. Minor also had 11 rebounds.

COACH ARRESTED: A Fresno State assistant basketball coach has been arrested for investigation of felony spousal abuse.
Johnny Mack Brown, 32, was arrested after his wife, Tara, 23, complained that he choked her and hurt her back. Brown countered in a report by Police Officer Robert Perry that his wife slapped and hit him. Brown said he had to grab her and wrestle her to the couch to stop the attack.
