DEER CAUSES SCENE CRASHING INTO WYTHEVILLE VIDEO STORE

While deer hunters from Wytheville searched surrounding woodlands for game Monday, one of their quarry visited a store at the Wythe View Shopping Center right in town.

The deer crashed through I Wanna Video's plate-glass window and remained trapped inside, where it was found by store owner Bill Woosley.

Wytheville police and Woosley managed to herd the animal out the door. The shop opened for business Monday afternoon after broken glass and blood left by the deer were cleaned up.
