TECH TACKLER BROWN GETS MORE HONORS

The honors are pouring in for Virginia Tech's Cornell Brown.

The junior defensive end was named to the Football News All-America team Wednesday, one day after being named to the Football Writer's Association of America's squad.

Brown, who led the Big East and the Hokies with 14 sacks, was joined on the Football News first team by Virginia's Percy Ellsworth. The senior safety was named to the All-ACC first team Tuesday.

The Football News squad is selected by the publication's editorial staff.
