          705 Baltimore St., Bedford, mourns the loss of his house Thursday 
          morning as he looks at baseball cards that were salvaged from the 
          fire. The cards belong to his son, John Wayne Garver Jr., 14, a 
          cancer patient who was in the hospital in Charlottesville recovering
          from surgery.  Jimmy Cundiff of the Rubatex Fire Brigade comforts 
          Garver. The cause of the fire is unknown. color.
