A VARIETY OF OPTIONS and prices are possible for the Hokies' bowl trip.
The Virginia Tech Ticket Office will begin taking ticket orders today at 9 a.m. for the Nokia Sugar Bowl game pitting the No.13 Hokies against the No.9 Texas Longhorns.
There are three prices for tickets to the game, which will be played at the Louisiana Superdome on Dec.31.
Prices are: $60 to the general public with no limit; $75 for Tech Athletic Fund contributors and/or season ticket holders, with a limit of six; and $100 for Endowed Scholarship donors and Lifetime Golden Hokies, with a limit of six.
Tickets may be ordered by calling 1-800-VATECH4 or 540-231-6731 or at the Cassell Coliseum Ticket Office. Mail orders and fax orders (540-231-2637) will be accepted for the $75 and $60 tickets and must be paid for VISA or MasterCard.
Tickets will be mailed Dec.18. A service charge of $4 will be added to each order.
Tech officials reccommend local orders be made in person at the Tech Ticket Office, which will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. today through Friday.
