WOMAN'S PURSE TAKEN AT ROANOKE WAL-MART

A 54-year-old woman's purse was snatched in the parking lot of the Roanoke Wal-Mart on Monday afternoon, according to police.

About 12:15 p.m., Sandra E. Morse got out of her car at the Wal-Mart at 4210 Franklin Road. A man approached her, grabbed her purse and ran away with it. The purse contained $80. Morse was not injured.
