EARNINGS

Ground Round Restaurants Inc., a Boston-based chain with a Roanoke County operation, reported a net loss of $5.7 million, equal to 51 cents a share, on revenue of $230.4 million for its fiscal year ended Oct. 1. That compares with year-earlier net income of $6.2 million, or 56 cents a share, on revenue of $244.0 million. For its fourth quarter, the net loss was $3.8 million, equal to 33 cents a share, on revenue of $54.9 million, compared with year earlier net income of $1.6 million, or 14 cents a share, on revenue of $61.2 million.
