Claude Rowland
The children of Claude Earle Rowland would like to honor him on his 90th birthday. He was born December 6, 1905 in Gretna, Va. to Mariah John Tucker and Chistopher Raleigh Rowland. He was a farmer as a young man and later worked many years at the Ausco Rayon Mill. He married Lilly Maybelle McDaniel on May 12, 1928. She died 18 years ago. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints helping as Branch President to acquire its first building in Roanoke. He is an avid gardener, still drives and lives in his same home of over 60 years. He has always been a most WONDERFUL, LOVING and HONORABLE FATHER. We his children, Gloria Rowland Andersen of Orem, Utah and Richard L. Rowland of New Orleans, Louisiana and his eleven grandchildren are so grateful to him for his great love and sacrifice for us.
Happy 90th Birthday.
