Mr. and Mrs. James A. King, Sr. of Roanoke announce the marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline Mitchell, to Timothy Michael Kelly on December 1, 1995 in Hampton, Va.
Jacqueline is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and was previously employed at Precision Fabrics Group in Vinton, Va.
Timothy is the son of Mr. Joseph Kelly and the late Mrs. Edna Kelly of Hampton. Timothy graduated from Ferguson High School in Newport News. He is employed in the family business All-Good Supply Company in Hampton.
Following a reception at the Country Club, the cou ple is making their home in Hampton
Lucas-Troup
Katie Lynn Troup and David Morris Lucas were united in marriage September 30, 1995 at Price's Fork United Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Clemens officiating. The reception was held at Blacksburg's Marriott. The maid of honor was Sherry Morris, mother of the bride. Joe Lucas, father of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Timothy Lucas and Nelson Price. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen M. Morris of Reston, Virginia. She is attending Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe M. Lucas of Blacksburg. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is employed by Virginia Tech College of Agriculture. The newlyweds will live in Blacksburg after their wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tn.
Rosener-Campion
Gwenn Gray Campion and David Scott Rosener were united in marriage on October 14, 1995 at Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. Dr. J. Philip Wogaman officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Campion of Salem, Virginia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rosener of Denver, Colorado. The groom's father provided a reading on marriage during the ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her father. Serving as maid of honor was Molly Butcher of Washington, D.C., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Bonnie Campion of Richmond, Va., sister-in-law of the bride; Barbara Rostosky of Alexandria, Va., and Lucia Marshall of Marblehead, Ma., friends of the bride.
The best man was Timothy Rosener of Denver, Co., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Matthew Campion of Richmond, Va., brother of the bride; Cameron Dales of Palo Alto, Ca., and Kevin Keating of Fairfax, Va., friends of the groom. Michael Hendrickson of Washington, D.C., served as junior groomsmen.
The bride received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech and a masters in business administration from Harvard University. She is employed by the management consulting practice of Ernst and Young in Baltimore, Md. The groom received his undergraduate degree from the Colorado School of Mines and a masters in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University. He is employed by the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C.
The couple will live in Washington, D.C., after having returned from a honeymoon cruise in the Greek Islands.
Savage-Strange
Elizabeth Ann Strange and Joseph Pretlow Savage were married Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995 in the Boyhood Home of Robert E. Lee, Alexandria, Va. by The Rev. Dr. Eugene B. Davis (U.S. Navy Ret.), cousin of the bride. The reception was held at the Robert E. Lee Boyhood Home. Matron of honor was Susan S. Schlegel of Alexandria, Va., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sharon F. Lonsdale of Pt. Charlotte, Fl., Laura Stowe Emery of Arlington, Va. and Renee Harris of Capitol Heights, D.C. Flowergirl was Miss Lauren K. Bernstein of Ramsey, NJ, niece of the groom. The best man was Mr. Lon K. Savage of Salem, Va., father of the groom. Ushers were Ephry C. Kaplan of Silver Springs, Md., Carl J. Lambe of Charlottesville, Va. and Daniel J. Caplan of Chapel Hill, N.C. Ringbearer was Master Andrew J. Bernstein of Ramsey, NJ, nephew of the groom. Wedding ceremony music was performed by the Macbeth String Quartet. Reception music was provided by Bill Whelan's Dixieland Band.|
The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth B. Strange of Salisbury, MD and Dr. Walter G. Strange of Newport News, Va. She is a graduate of Blacksburg High School-1978; the University of Mississippi, Oxford-1982, with a bachelor of arts degree in English; the University of Virginia, Charlottesville-1986, with a master of fine arts degree in costume design. The bride is employed by Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), Alexandria, Va.|
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Lon K. Savage of Salem, Va. and the late Ellen McCann Savage and stepmother, Virginia Moomaw Savage of Salem, Va. He is a graduate of Blacksburg High School-1978, the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, 1982, with a bachelor of arts degree in history; 1987: master of public policy from the University of California, Berkeley and a juris doctorate from the University of Calif., Hastings College of Law. He is an attorney with Morrison & Foerster in Washington, DC. The newlyweds live in Alexandria, Va. following the wedding trip to Maui and Kauai Islands, Hawaii and San Francisco, Ca.
Sharp-Kegley
Natasha Lynn Kegley and Jeremy James Sharp were married June 16, 1995 at Mountain Park, in the Pondre Canyon in Larimer County, Colorado. The officiating clergyman was Pastor Keith Lacy. Witnesses were Kelley Sharp, sister of the groom, and Scott Hunter, cousin of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Kegley of Roanoke. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Royce Rosenbaum of Pulaski, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kegley. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School, and is employed by Teledyne Waterpik.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael R. Sharp of Ft. Collins, Co., and Mr. and Mrs. John Aalbers, Jr., of Windsor, Co. He is a graduate of Ottumwa High School, Ottumwa, Iowa, and is employed by J.B. Excavating.
The newlyweds live in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
Stinnett-Mohler
The marriage of Beth Mohler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Wayne Mohler of Buena Vista, to Mr. David Stinnett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Stinnett, also of Buena Vista, took place on November 4, 1995, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at St. John's United Methodist Church. The Reverend Benjamin D. Burks, friend of the groom, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Miss Susan Gilbert of Charlottesville was her cousin's maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Miss Laurie Cornwell of Mechnicsville, Miss Kimberly Fischer of Chesapeake, Mrs. Leslie Royer of Raphine, and Miss Jennifer Williams of Charlottesville, all friends of the bride, Miss Kim Gilbert of Lynchburg, friend and cousin of the bride, Miss Whitney Blackwell of Dobson, N. C., niece of the groom. Miss McKenzie Moore of Dobson, N. C., niece of the groom, served as flower girl.
Mr. Freddie Stinnett wa s his son's best man. Groomsmen were Steven Buchanan, Troy Coffey, Kirk Wheeler and Michael Wheeler, all of Buena Vista and all friends of the groom, Todd Clevenger of Roanoke, friend of the groom, and Roy Mohler of Buena Vista, brother of the bride. Master Jay Suthers of Eagle Rock, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Wedding music was provided by the James Madison University String Quartet. They played a collection of classical pieces selected by the bride and groom.
Mrs. Tana Sue Ginger Huddleston of Wilmington, N. C., aunt of the groom, was the programs attendant. Mrs. Lucille Wheeler Gilbert of Charlottesville, aunt of the bride, was the guest book attendant.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. She is employed by the Virginia Department of Youth & Family Services as a Probation Officer.
The groom is a 1986 graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He is employed by the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Following a honeymoon in Moorea and Tahiti, the couple is living in Rockbridge County.
Thomas-Cook
Jill Renae Cook and Terry Neal Thomas were married August 26, 1995 in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hotel Roanoke. The Reverend Doug Witt of Roanoke was the officiating pastor. The reception immediately followed the ceremony in the Roanoke Ballroom of the Hotel Roanoke.
Maid of honor was Kimberly Adkins of Roanoke, childhood friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Meredith Cook of Roanoke, Lindsay Gray of Vinton, both cousins of the bride; Wendy Hale of Roanoke, friend of the bride; Cynthia Harris of Daleville, ``sister-like'' friend of the bride; and Sarah Mitchell of Appomattox, college friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Kara Weeks of Vinton, and Katie Wyatt of Mannassas, both cousins of the bride. Lauren Hudson of Roanoke, friend of the groom's family, was the flower girl.
Best man was Roger Thomas of Troutville, father of the groom. Groomsmen were William Aldrich of Roanoke, friend of the groom; Russell Brown of Atlanta, college fraternity brother of the groom; Kenneth Davis of Richmond, and Douglas Dooley of Blue Ridge, both friends of the groom; and Mark Thomas of Troutville, brother of the groom. Ringbearer was Taylor Mitchell of Appomattox, godson of the bride.
The wedding coordinator was Jane Compton of Blue Ridge, friend of the bride. Piano music was provided by Tina Cook Woods of Goodview, aunt of the bride. Harpist was Elizabeth Dechant of Roanoke. Guestbook and program attendants were Nikol Humbert of Big Stone Gap, and Shannon Larson of Falls Church, both college roommates of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of David and Anne Cook of Daleville. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and attended Radford University. She is employed by the Cato Corporation.
The groom is the son of Roger and Jo Thomas of Troutville. He is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is employed by the Shelton-Witt Equipment Corporation.
After a wonderful honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World and a Bahama Cruise, the couple is residing in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

Ms. Barbara Gail Brown of Franklinville, N.C. and Mr. James Louis Wiley of Siler City, N.C. were united in marriage at 4 pm on Nov. 10, 1995 with Rev. Herman L. Word Sr. officiating.
The ceremony was held in the home of Mr. Bobby and Mrs. Mattie Ferguson of Roanoke, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.
The groom is employed with William Fox Logging Co., of Liberty, N.C .
The bride is owner of B. and W. Landscaping & Lawn Care Service in Siler City, N.C.
Mrs. Holly Hussey, daughter of the bride, and Mrs. Mattie Ferguson, sister of the groom, served as matrons of honor.
Mr. Bobby Ferguson, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man.

A reception was hosted by Mrs. Mattie Ferguson, sister of the groom and Mrs. Della Staples, honorary sister of both the bride and groom.
The bride and groom were honored with champagne, dinner and dancing before a honeymoon at the Mariott of Roanoke Resort. The couple will reside in Siler City, North Carolina.
Willey-Slusher
Caryn Renee' Slusher and Raymond Thomas Willey, Jr., were married November 18 at Temple Baptist Church, Raleigh, N. C., with Dr. George Fuller officiating. A reception was held at Silver and Lace.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Leigh Slusher of Wake Forest, formerly of Roanoke. Parents of the groom are Mrs. Mary L. Willey of Raleigh and Mr. Raymond T. Willey of Richmond, Ohio.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Slusher and Mr. and Mrs. Buford M. Hodges of Roanoke. She is a paralegal with the law office of John T. Orcutt. The groom is a Captain with Falls Fire Department. The couple will make their home in Wake Forest.
Williams-Andrews
Judy Carol Andrews and Darrell Lee Williams were united in marriage Saturday, December 9, at the Greenwood Presbyterian Church in Covington. The Rev. Forrest Musselman was the officiating minister.
The bride is the daughter of Keith and Christine Andrews of Covington. The groom is the son of Ruth and Tony DeLeo of Vinton and Freddie and Nina Williams of Martinsville.
The bride is employed by Liberty House Nursing Home in Clifton Forge as a registered nurse. The groom is employed by Westvaco Corp. in Covington.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will make their home in Covington.
Wise-Golding
Venetia Wise Murphy and Joel Patrick Golding were married on Saturday, October 28, 1995 during a formal candlelight ceremony at Green Ridge Baptist Church in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Michael Palmer officiated the ceremony, and music was provided by Violinist Lisa DeVries.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wise of Salem, Va. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy J. Golding of Boones Mill, Va. The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father, Mr. Paul Wise. Matron of honor was Mrs. Stephanie Wise Ratliff, sister of the bride. Ms. Holly Farmer, sister of the groom, served as a bridesmaid. Flowergirl was Rebecca Shea Young. The best man was Billy J. Golding, and Benjamin Michael Farmer, nephew of the groom, served as a groomsman. Matthew Paul Murphy, who is the son of the bride, served as the ringbearer. Special guests in attendance were Benjamin Paul Ratliff and Nicholas London Ratliff, twin nephews of the bride.
A reception was held afterwards at North Lakes Club House.
The Goldings enjoyed their honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico and have made their home in Roanok e County.
Young-Layman
Elma Sarver Layman and George Leonard Young, II were married December 9, 1995 in The Wedding Chapel with the Rev. Sherwood Spence officiating.
The bride i s the daughter of Wilmer and Ethel Sarver of New Port, Va. The groom is the son of the late George and Gertrude Young. He is self employed.
A spring honeymoon is planned. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke
