A photograph of Mary Wood appeared in Sunday's New River Current with an incorrect caption. Mary Wood directed the Wytheville churches' community Christmas cantata on Sunday.

Steve Brown will direct the Walk-In Christmas Carol and "Messiah" Sing on Dec. 21 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church on Main Street in Christiansburg. The event is sponsored by New River Valley Hospice.
