Alouf-Buckner

Miss Kimberly R. Buckner and Mr. Alan W. Alouf were united in the sacrament of marriage in a double ceremony with the groom's cousin, Mr. Stephen B. Alouf, and Miss Regina M. Ervin at Saint Andrews Catholic Church on December 16, 1995. The Rev. Father Steven R. Rule officiated. The reception was held at Saint Elias Social Hall.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Ellen Fulcher. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Barbara McNeil, Ms. Michelle Dooley, Mrs. Amy Robertson, Miss Allison A. Alouf and Miss Amy M. Alouf. The flower girl was Miss Alexia L. Alouf. The guestbook attendant was Miss Tammy S. Britt.

Best man was Dr. Fred G. Alouf, Jr. Groomsmen were Stephen J. Rosalia, Mr. P. Richard Keller, Mr. J. Michael Giammona, Mr. Anthony J. Zook and Mr. David W. Smoot. Ring bearer was Master Corey T. Dooley.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Buckner and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman E. Mawyer. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Fred G. Alouf, Jr.

The newlyweds will honeymoon in Hawaii.

Alouf-Ervin

Miss Regina M. Ervin and Mr. Stephen B. Alouf were united in marriage in a double ceremony with the groom's cousin, Mr. Alan W. Alouf, and Kimberly R. Buckner on December 16, 1995. The wedding took place at St. Andrews Catholic Church with Rev. Father Steven R. Rule officiating. The reception was held at St. Elias Social Hall.

Maid of honor was Miss Nicole Alouf, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Miss Jennifer Edwards, Miss Susan Edwards, Miss Sherry Collins, Miss Kimberly Boggs and Miss Vicky Hayes. Flower girl was Miss Alexia Alouf.

Best man was Dr. Donald R. Alouf, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Gregory Alouf, Mr. David King, Mr. David Kleven, Mr. Joseph Silragusa and Mr. Michael Edwards. Ring bearer was Master Corey Dooley.

The bride is the daughter of the late Lt. Col. and Mrs. Robert M. Ervin. She is a graduate of Radford University and is employed by Trigon Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

The groom is the son of Dr. Donald R. Alouf and Pauline C. Crouse. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is currently attending MCV School of Dentistry.

The newlyweds will honeymoon in Hawaii. Batten-Siler

Holly Faith Siler and Benjamin Todd Batten were united in a celebration of marriage on Saturday, December 16, 1995, at First Baptist Church in Roanoke. Officiating were the Reverend V. Jeffrey Doremus and the Reverend Edward A. Kohl.

Betsy G. Haynes of Ferrum, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Paige Guilliams of Callaway, Melissa Guilliams of Boones Mill, Jill B. Shartzer of Roanoke, Tracey W. Keith of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Melissa Ford of Hiedelberg, Germany. Danielle Goad of Hillsville was the flower girl.

Jack B. Batten of Roanoke, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Trey Shartzer of Roanoke, Jeffrey Bray of Greensboro, North Carolina, Phillip Siler of Boones Mill, Mike Haynes of Ferrum, and Reverend Bryan Keith of Knoxville, Tennessee. Paul Maddy of Rocky Mount was the ring bearer.

The guestbook was attended by Kristy Bray of Greensboro and Fay Flora of Roanoke. A reading was given by the Reverend Arvil Pennington of Roanoke. Soloists were Carl Akers of Boones Mill, Karen Humayun of Baltimore, Maryland, Tracey Keith of Knoxville, and Reggie Stover of Roanoke.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey D. Siler of Boones Mill. She is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Radford University and is employed by Franklin County Public Schools. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack B. Batten of Roanoke. He is a graduate of R. L. Osborne High School in Marietta, Georgia, Virginia Western Community College, and is currently a senior in the School of Nursing at Radford University. He is employed by Lowe's Home Centers of Roanoke.

After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will reside in Roanoke. Casella-Moore

Laura Lynne Moore and Brian Joseph Casella were married December 16, 1995, in Westhampton Christian Church with Rev. Dr. Paul Matheny and Rev. Walter Bingham officiating. The reception was held at the Jefferson Club. The matron of honor was Mary Elmore, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ronda Moore, sister-in-law of the bride, Suzanne Kilbane Hinton, Heather Koetz, Erin Via Leavitt, Tonja Palauro and Jennifer Stough, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Logan Strickland, cousin of the groom. Raymond J. Casella, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Matthew Casella, brother of the groom, David Moore, brother of the bride, Adam Barden, Ben Burkett, Jon DeLong and Chris Gary, all friends of the groom. Troy Stallard, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. The guestbook was attended by Lisa Crabbs Clabbers. Program attendants were Karen Deeter and Melissa Bagnoli, cousins of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Moore of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and Virginia Tech. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Casella of Midlothian. He graduated from Clover Hill High School and Virginia Tech. He is employed by Philip Morris of Richmond.

Karri Delnise Linkous and Michael Cridlin were married October 28, 1995, at Trinity Baptist Church in Christiansburg, Va. The Reverend Monroe Hedrick, uncle of groom, officiated the ceremony with Reverend Fred Brugger of North Fork Baptist Church assisting. The reception was held at the Farm House with Steve Blake as the D.J.

The bride was escorted by her uncle, Marshall Linkous. The matron of honor was Kristi Blake, sister of the bride. Teri Reed was her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Curtis of Atlanta, Ga., and Angie Cridlin, sister-in-law of groom. Flower gi rls were Lindsay Hedrick and Brittany Gerald.

The best man was Bryan Cridlin, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Steve Fifthan, Jeff Moran and Steve Blake. Honorary ring bearer, Jacob Cridlin, nephew of groom. The guestbook was attended by Tonya King. Selina Britt and Tammy Singass were program attendants. Music was provided by Greg Hedrick, cousin of groom, who sang the ``Lord's Prayer'' and ``Love Will Be Our Home''. Sister and brother-in-law sang ``Endless Love and ``I Will Be Here'' with Peggy Epperly as organist and Lisa Gerald as pianist.

In memory of her father, the bride placed a globed candle at the altar of the church, and a single white rose in her and her sister's bouquet with a circle of daisies in memory of her friend, Dee Dee Quesenberry.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Linkous and the late Delma Linkous. She is the granddaughter of Virginia Sarver. She is a graduate of Christiansburg High and attended New River Community College and is employed by First National Bank.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Y. Cridlin, Jr., of Christiansburg and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Brand Hardenbergh and Mrs. Clyde Y. Cridlin. He graduated from Christiansburg High and is attending New River Community College majoring in Police Science. He will graduate in the spring.

The bride's dress, and the bridesmaids' floor-length gowns of hunter green brocade and chiffon, and flower girls' dresses of deep purple chiffon, were designed by the bride and seamstress Mary Thompson of Radford. Special thanks to the director of the wedding Shelda Wills and Stevens Photography.

After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the newlyweds will make their home in Ellett Valley, Christiansburg, Va. Dooley-Geary

Lisa Anne Geary and Donnie Wade Dooley were married October 6, 1995 at the home of the bride and groom by Rev. Mitchell C. Luckie, Pastor. A reception followed at their home. Matron of honor was Gail Smith, friend of the bride. Flowergirl was Dorothy Marie Dooley, daughter of the groom. Best man was Cody Allen Dooley, son of the groom. Video was by Mark Geary.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby G. Geary of Roanoke. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and Hollins College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. The bride is employed by Allstate Insurance in Roanoke. The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. James N. Dooley of Fincastle, is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School in Daleville. Gayle Elizabeth Hauser and Gregory James Fedele were united in marriage December 16, 1995 at Second Presbyterian Church. The Reverend A. Taylor Todd officiated at the 6:30 PM candlelight double ring ceremony. The reception was held at Hunting Hills Country Club.

Escorted by her father and supported in marriage by her parents, the bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Bruce Hauser of Roanoke, Virginia. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School, The University of Richmond, and East Carolina University School of Nursing. She has been employed as a nurse in Richmond, Virginia.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Marie Feltman of Patchogue, New York and Mr. Louis Anthony Fedele of Edmonds, Washington. He is a graduate of Patchogue-Medford High School and The E. Claiborne Robins School of Business at The University of Richmond. He is employed as a programmer analyst by The Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, Connecticut.

Mrs. Juliana Houser Mills of Columbus, Georgia was her sister's matron of honor. Also attending the bride were Beth Abel of Jackson, Mississippi, Joye Hedden of Richmond, Virginia, Debi Keyes of Raleigh, North Carolina, Joy Sappington of Frederick, Maryland, Stephanie Sheffer of Stayner, Ontario, Kimberly Terry of Abingdon, Virginia and Karen Tomlin of Richmond, Virginia. Gabriella Fedele and Mara Fedele, sisters of the groom, of Edmonds, Washington were flowergirls.

Mr. Kevin Chu of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was the best man. Groomsmen included David Crofton of Richmond, Virginia, John Cleary Jr. of Highland, New York, Clay Calhoun of Atlanta, Georgia, Mike Hedden of Richmond, Virginia, Kirk Kumagai of DuPont, Washington, William C. Losch III of Richmond, Virginia, James Thompson Mills III of Columbus, Georgia and John Schuchman of Chatham Township, New Jersey. Timothy Feltman, brother of the groom, of Patchogue, New York was the junior groomsman.

Heather White and Robin White of Manotick, Ontario and Jamie Kavander of Patchogue, New York attended the guest book and assisted the bride. The scripture was read by Kristen Ferrante of Patchogue, New York and a prayer was given by Corry Brockwell of Markdale, Ontario.

The couple will reside in Vernon, Connecticut. A wedding trip to Anguilla is planned.

Kelly-Kingf Mr. and Mrs. James A. King, Sr. of Roanoke announce the marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline Mitchell King, to Timothy Michael Kelly on December 1, 1995 in Hampton, Va.

Jacqueline is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and was previously employed at Precision Fabrics Group in Vinton, Va.

Timothy is the son of Mr. Joseph Kelly and the late Mrs. Edna Kelly of Hampton. Timothy graduated from Ferguson High School in Newport News. He is employed in the family business All-Good Supply Company in Hampton .

Miss Julie Ann Lindsay of Roanoke, became the bride of Mr. Eric Karl Layman of Fincastle, at a country Christmas wedding on Saturday, the sixteenth of December, Nineteen hundred and Ninety-five at 3 o'clock at Fincastle Presbyterian Church, Fincastle, Va., with Dr. G. Ernest Deyerle officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Philip Lindsay of Roanoke, Virginia. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Layman, Jr. of Fincastle, Virginia, and Mrs. Judith S. Layman of Roanoke, Va.

Serving as matron of honor was Sherri Morris Cisne. Bridesmaids were Melissa Dunbar Boone, Sally Ann Clayton, Lisa Reed McGraw, Vicki Lynn Simpson, Patricia Foster Stratton, and Dee'Anna Lynn Wells. Best man was Robert E. Layman, Jr., father of the groom. Julie Elizabeth McLaurin and Riley Edward Meador, II were married December 16, 1995, in a candlelight ceremony at Oakland Baptist Church. The officiating clergymen were Rev. Elmo McLaurin, father of the bride, and Rev. Kelly Dampeer. The reception was held in the church fellowship hall.

The bride was given in marri age by her father. Rev. Dampeer officiated until her father gave her away, then her father conducted the ceremony.

The maids of honor were Tanya and Tiffany McLaurin, sisters of the bride. The bridesmaids were Karen McLaurin, sister-in-law of the bride, and Tammy Scott, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Erin Meador, niece of the groom. The flower girl was Mollie Benson, friend of the bride. The rice bag attendant was Sarah Pigford, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Jimmie Meador, Sr., father of the groom. The groomsmen were Jimmie Meador, Jr., brother of the groom, Scott Beaman, and Christopher Andrews, friends of the groom. The junior groomsman was Chris Meador, nephew of the groom.

The ushers were Stuart McLaurin, brother of the bride, Jimmy Scott, brother-in-law of the groom, Matt Keffer, Andrew Beaman, John Murphy, and Don Altice, friends of the groom. Ringbearer was Chase Lanier, friend of the bride.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Meador, Sr. of Goodview. He is employed with the Roanoke County Police Department.

Anna Elizabeth Glass, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gerald Glass of Radford, was married Saturday, December 16, 1995, to Robert Francis Toth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank George Toth of Rockville, Maryland. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Clarence Dishman at the War Memorial Chapel on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a formal gown of silk shantung. The full skirt had a draped train and was accentuated with pearl trim. A veil of illusion fell full length. The bride's bouquet was Madam Delbaurd roses with Christmas spruce and pine.

Jennifer Glass, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Michele Toth, sister of the groom, Melissa Toth, sister-in-law of the groom, Nancy Glass and Sarah Glass, sisters of the bride, and Tamara Christian.

James Toth, brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Michael Toth and Matthew Toth, brothers of the groom, John Demek, brother-in-law of the groom, John Bysiewicz, brother-in-law of the bride, and Andrew Barauskas.

The bride and groom were honored by friends in Washington, D.C., Blacksburg, and Radford. An engagement party was hosted by Ms. Lisa Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Stone and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Whitehead at Tom Terrific's in Radford on September 11, 1995. A breakfast was given the following morning by Mr. and Mrs. Allen Bowman and Dr. and Mrs. William Prillaman at the Claytor Lake home of Dr. and Mrs. Prillaman. Tamara Christian and Jennifer Glass hosted an afternoon tea shower at the Willard Inter-Continental Hotel in Washington, D.C. A luncheon shower for the bride was hosted by Mrs. Tara Skewes and was held at the Allegheny Cafe in Radford. On the evening of November 11, 1995, Dr. and Mrs. William Christian gave a dinner party for the bride and groom at their home in Radford.

On December 15, Mrs. Mary Lou Lamb and Mrs. Katherine Martin hosted the bridesmaid's luncheon at the Allegheny Inn. The rehearsal dinner, given by the groom's parents, was held at Tom Terrific's. On the morning of the wedding, Ms. Nancy King and Mr. Thomas Adams, Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Barta, Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Henry, Ms. Annyce Levy, Mr. and Mrs. Max Jenkins, and Dr. and Mrs. Valiant Mah entertained the wedding party and out-of-town guests with a breakfast at the Faculty Club of Radford University. The wedding re ception was held at the University Club on the Virginia Tech campus.

The bride, a Certified Public Accountant, graduated from Virginia Tech. She is the Chief Financial Officer for the American Red Cross, National Capital Chapter in Washington, D.C.

The groom received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from Towson University in Towson, Maryland. He is the Director of Administration for OmniSec Corporation in McLean, Virginia.

The couple will reside in McLean, Virginia following a wedding trip to Arizona.
