MISS NRV PAGEANT SEEKS CONTESTANTS

The Miss New River Valley Scholarship Pageant Committee is accepting applications for the 1996 title. This pageant is the official local preliminary to the Miss Virginia Pageant in the Miss America system.

Miss New River Valley 1996 will receive a scholarship of $1000, and will compete this summer in the Miss Virginia Pageant in Roanoke.

Contestants must reside in the State of Virginia. They will be judged in swimsuits, evening gowns, and private interviews.
