The Altruist Club will present eight high school students during its annual debutante ball on Dec. 29 at the Roanoke Airport Marriott at 7 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased from the debutantes for $12.
Peter Lewis, owner of Apple Ridge Farms, and Claudia Whitworth, publisher of the Roanoke Tribune, will be honorary chairmen.
The 1995 Debutantes are:
Natalie Nicole Andrews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Andrews. The William Fleming High School senior will be escorted by Lee Suggs Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Suggs Sr., and presented by Christian Praise Ensemble.
Alexis Ann Elam, daughter of Cherri Elam and Morris Elam Jr. The Hillsboro (Tenn.) High School senior will be escorted by Derek Von Roseboro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Roseboro, and presented by the Roanoke chapter of Girl Friends Inc.
Heather Elizabeth Harper, daughter of Nancy R. Harper and Thomas H. Harper. The Fleming senior will be escorted by Devin. L. Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Williams, and presented by Marilyn Curtis.
Quanda Nicole Leftwich, daughter of Deborah Leftwich-Terry and Samuel L. Terry. The Patrick Henry High School senior will be escorted by Rodney A. Willis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Willis, and presented by the Roanoke Alumni of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
