Salem sets basketball clinics Dec. 28, 29

The Salem parks and recreation department, along with the Salem High School basketball staff, will conduct Youth Holiday Basketball Clinics for boys and girls, who will participate in the 1995-1996 Salem Recreation Youth Basketball program.

No fee or pre-registration is required for the clinics on Dec. 28 and 29 at the Andrew Lewis Middle School. Sessions are from 10 a.m. until noon for girls and 1 to 3 p.m. for boys. Contact Rudy Hann or Dan Jones at 375-4021 for further information.

Salem seeks to fund Spay/Neuter Day

The Salem Animal Control Division is seeking funds for its second annual Spay/Neuter Day on Feb. 27, 1996.

Donations and registration of pets to be treated will be accepted until Jan. 31, 1996. All pets to be registered must be up-to-date on shots.

A health record also must be presented before spay/neuter certificates will be issued. The division will treat only one pet per household.
