City courts relocating
RADFORD - The offices of Radford City General District Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court will be closed from Monday, Jan. 15, through Friday, Jan. 19, in order to relocate to their new offices at the municipal building. Payments - fines and court costs - will be accepted by mail.
Offices will reopen on Monday, Jan. 22, at 8:30 a.m.

Free home cholesterol tests
FLOYD - Hoping to increase turnout at its blood drive, the American Red Cross will give donors free home cholesterol test kits at the Thursday blood drive at the Bank of Floyd community room, from noon to 6 p.m.
The Johnson & Johnson Advanced Care Cholesterol Test will allow users to test their cholesterol levels at home.
Donors need to be in good health, at least 17 and 105 pounds. For more information, call 985-3520.
St. Paul preschool
CHRISTIANSBURG - St. Paul United Methodist Church Preschool, Main Street, Christiansburg, will begin accepting applications for the 1996-1997 school year on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996. The preschool offers morning programs for 3- and 4-year-old children. Enrollment is limited.

Saint Albans support groups
BLACKSBURG - Saint Albans outpatient mental health clinic on South Main Street in Blacksburg is sponsoring two new support groups.
One group is for couples who are dealing with the issue of infertility. The second is for couples or women who have experienced the loss of an unborn child.
Both groups will be lead by Etty Vandsburger, a licensed clinical social worker. For more information, call the clinic at 951-3898.
Memorial dedication is on video
PULASKI - Copies of a video on the Pulaski County War Memorial dedicated this year are on sale for $15.
They can be ordered at the Pulaski County Administrator's Office, 143 3rd St. N.W., Pulaski, Va. 24301, or by calling 980-7705.
The video was produced by Professional Video Services of Pulaski. It covers the entire dedication ceremony held on the lawn of the Old Courthouse, the veterans' parade that preceded it, special music, and selections honoring veterans whose names are listed on the memorial.
'Growing Kids God's Way'
CHRISTIANSBURG - "Growing Kids God's Way," a parenting seminar, starts Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m., at the New Life Foursquare Church, 900 Life Drive, Christiansburg. This series of 14 video lessons is designed to teach parenting skills based on Bible teachings. Child care will be provided. The $16 fee is for course materials.
