SHANNON RICHARD BASHAM, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray S. Basham of Roanoke, was awarded a Presidential Fellows Scholarship at High Point University. Selection for the $2,500 renewable award was based on scholarship, leadership and citizenship. Basham is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School.
MICHELLE NOELL, daughter of Ed and Jeannette Noell of Roanoke, was selected to the Honor's Program at Longwood College. She is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School.
