TELL US ABOUT ACTS OF KINDNESS

The holidays are almost over, but many of us still have a memory of something special we did for someone else this season or something that was done for us.

Drop us a letter describing the acts of kindness, and we'll compile a synopsis in late January of all the work done in the "Spirit of Giving." If you have a good, clear photograph, we'll also consider publishing that.

Send your name or the name of your organization and a description of the act of kindness: Spirit of Giving, Neighbors, P.O. Box 2491, Roanoke, Va. 24010.

Don't be modest in your description, and please include the daytime telephone number of a contact person. The deadline is 5 p.m. Jan. 12, 1996.
