Mill Mountain Theatre's children's musical for this season has nothing to do with Clint Eastwood, but it's definitely a tale of the good, the bad and the ugly.
``Beauty and the Beast'' opens on the theater's main stage on April 17 and runs through April 28. Local casting for the show is set for January 20.
This version of the traditional tale is by Peter del Valle and John Ahearn, with songs by Michale Valenti and Elsa Rael.
Predating Walt Disney's animated film of the story by about 20 years, this show is being touted as having ``a magic all its own.''
