Bulldogs 34-27 in Saturday's Peach Bowl in Atlanta. A record crowd

of 70,825 fans attended the contest. Virginia's Pete Allen (left)

was the star of the game. Allen scored the game-winning touchdown on

an 83-yard kickoff return with 1:09 remaining. He also scored on an

83-yard pass from Mike Groh in the second quarter. UVa's Ronde

Barber (19) helped the Cavaliers defensively by breaking up a pass

intended for Georgia's Chris McCranie (23 in photo below) and

stopping Georgia's Brice Hunter (88 in bottom middle photo). The

game marked the end of the road for Georgia coach Ray Goff (bottom

left and bottom right), who was relieved of his duties in November.
