The Blue Ridge Parkway counted 110,475 cars entering the scenic drive in its Roanoke district during November, up 13.8 percent from 97,088 in November 1994. The most recent number was down 12.9 percent from 126,821 in October, the height of the fall foliage season.
In November, the largest number of cars - 52,115 - entered the parkway from Virginia 24 east of Vinton.
Another 41,058 motorists entered from U.S. 220 south of Roanoke. The parkway counted 10,741 cars entering from Mill Mountain Road and 6,561 from U.S. 221 at Adney Gap.
