Cathryn Jo Lopiccolo and Todd Gifford Ammermann were married Saturday, January 6, 1996, at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlottesville. Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at Glenmore Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lopiccolo of Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1993 and currently attends the University of Virginia School of Law.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. E. Gifford Ammermann of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Northside High School and Washington and Lee University. He also currently attends the University of Virginia School of Law.
After a honeymoon trip to Ontario, Canada, the couple will reside in Charlottesville. Day-Hosp
Elizabeth Bennett Hosp and Richard Ernest Day, Jr., were married at 3:00 p.m. on December 16, 1995, in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Roanoke, Virginia.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. William Brokaw Hosp and the late Mr. Hosp. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Richard Ernest Day and Mrs. William Alfred Crandall. The officiating minister was the Rev. Dr. W. Philip West, and music was provided by A. Robert Chapman, organist. The bride was escorted to the altar by her brother, William Brokaw Hosp, Jr.
The matron of honor was Susan Ellen Hares of Minot, N. D., and the maid of honor was Lou Anne Gott of Roanoke. The bridesmaids were Lindsay Rae Hares of Minot, N. D., and Sara Diane Day, niece of the groom of Roanoke. The guestbook was attended by Susan Shirley and Debbie Day.
Richard Ernest Day was his son's best man. The ushers were Samuel Barnhart Hosp, brother of the bride, and Curtis Darryl Day, Jr., nephew of the groom, both of Roanoke. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Roanoke Moose Lodge.
The bride is a graduate of Cave Spring High School. She attended Virginia Western Community College, and she earned an Associate Degree in Marketing and Management from Tampa College, Tampa, Florida, where she is currently working on her B. S. degree. She is employed as a manager for American Family Restaurants.
The groom is also a graduate of Cave Spring High School. He attended Virginia Western Community College, and he received an Ass ociate Degree in Computer Programming from Tidewater Community College. He is employed by Summit Helicopters, Inc. Edwards-Meredith
Tracey Lyn Meredith and Christopher Thomas Edwards were married October 21, 1995, in St. Luke's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Larry Alan Snyder officiating. The reception was held at The Inn at Lambertville, Riverside Ballroom. The matron of honor was Angel Martino and the bridesmaids were Miss Carlo Banashek and Miss Amy Walker, all close friends. Evans Edwards, grooms's brother, served as best man. Ushers were Mr. Rob Meredith, bride's brother, and Mr. Mike Cantrell, a close friend. The ringbearer was Ryan Mead. Shirley Hartje attended the guestbook. The bride wore a gown of italian silk and lace. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses, ivory freesia, baby's breath and eucalyptus. The bride is the daughter of Robert S. Meredith (deceased) and Audrey L. Meredith of Yardley, Penn. She graduated from Pennsbury High School 1986, Furman University 1990 and the University of Pennsylvania 1992. She is employed by West Windsor Plainsboro Regional School District. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard T. Edwards of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School 1984, Princeton University 1988. He is employed by The Times of Trenton. Molly Elaine Davis and Donald Scott Grisso were united in marriage on Friday, January 5, 1996, at First Baptist Church of Roanoke. Dr. Charles G. Fuller and the Reverend J. Allie McNider officiated the candlelight double ring ceremony. The reception was held in Phelps Hall at the church.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Curtis Davis of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and attends Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Grisso of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and is a senior at Carson-Newman College.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Maid of honor was Melanie Joy Davis, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Carrie Anderson of New London, Iowa, Michele Cave of Roanoke, Kristen Rossbacher of Roanoke, Tammy Stoklas of Tampa, Florida, and Anita Webster of Roanoke. The junior bridesmaid was Natasha Collins of Mount Airy, North Carolina. Honorary bridesmaids were Becky Brittain, Stephanie Dickerson, Angel McCarter, and Missy Payne. Roxanna Faizi, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.
