H. Kirby Burch, the state Conservation and Recreation director who gained notoriety when he shot and killed two wild pigs during a gathering of state officials last year, has resigned to take another job within the Allen administration.
Burch will become deputy director of the state Charitable Gaming Commission, which writes regulations for non-profit games of chance such as bingo and raffle
