Floyd County broke open a close game in the third quarter and went on to beat Roanoke Catholic 70-49 on Wednesday night in a non-district game on the Celtics' floor.
Derek Saunders (17 points) and Travis Cantrell (16) led the way for the Buffaloes, who won the third quarter 19-6 to seize control.
Catholic (2-10) got 17 points from Brendan McCarthy and 13 from Chad Wall.
Salem 57, Magna Vista 45: Herschel Thomas scored 16 points and Kwam Lewis had 15 to lead the Spartans past the Warriors in a non-district matchup in Ridgeway.
Andy Beach added 12 points for Salem, which outscored Magna Vista 19-9 in the third quarter to pull away from a one-point lead. Landa Martin led the Warriors with eight points.
