DUBLIN MAN CHARGED IN RAPE

A 21-year-old Dublin man was arrested Friday and charged with the rape of a Radford University student.

Jon W. Lockwood II, was arrested shortly after the 22-year-old student reported the rape, according to Lt. Wayne Frye. The woman told police she was raped early Friday morning in her home on the east side of Radford.

Frye said the woman did not know the man who raped her. No breaking and entering charges were filed, he said.

Lockwood was released on bond.
