Valley Metro has released the routes its buses follow during bad weather.
The routes were used during the recent snowstorm. Buses run every hour when conditions allow. For times and other information, call 982-2222.
1A - LEAVING Valley View Mall: Follow normal route to Valley Court to Grandview left on Floraland right on Williamson right on Oakland left on Courtland to normal route.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Regular route to Virginia Western Community College to crosswalk at caution light return to Colonial to Wonju right on Franklin to Tanglewood Mall.
2B - LEAVING Tanglewood Mall: Regular route to Avenham right on Broadway right to McClanahan right on Carolina left on 26th Street left to Jefferson left on McClanahan right on Crystal Spring right on Weller left to Roanoke Memorial Hospitals left to Crystal Spring left to Weller left to Jefferson to normal route. Note: No service to Belleview and Hamilton Terrace.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Regular route Harrison to left on Fairfax to right on Moorman to right on 10th Street to normal route. Note: No service in old Burrell Hospital area.
1B - LEAVING Tanglewood Mall: From Tanglewood to Franklin to left on Wonju to left on Colonial follow regular route to Virginia Western to crosswalk at caution light. Turn around and proceed on normal route.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Regular route to Courtland to right on Oakland to left on Williamson to left on Floraland to Grandview to regular route.
2A - LEAVING Valley View: Follow normal route to 10th Street to left on Moorman to left on Fairfax to right on Harrison to normal route.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Regular route to right on McClanahan to right on Crystal Spring to right on Weller left to Roanoke Memorial Hospital left on Crystal Spring to left on Weller to right on Jefferson to right on 26th to right on Carolina to left on McClanahan to left on Broadway to left on Avenham to normal route. Note: No service to Hamilton Terrace or Belleview.
3C - LEAVING Friendship Manor: Regular route to Plantation right on Preston right on Oliver to left on Frontier to left on Link to right on Carotenoid to left on Oakland to left on Twinkle to right on Oliver to left on Fleming to right on Plantation, normal route.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Normal route to Salem Avenue to left on 18th Street. Take left on Rover to right on 17th Street to left on Patterson to right on 13th to Memorial. Keep on Memorial to left on Grandin to left on Guilford (end of line) to right on Livingston to left on Spring to right on Brambleton to right on Red Rock return to Brambleton and normal route.
4C - LEAVING Sam's at Towne Square: From Sam's follow normal route to Campbell Court.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Follow normal route to Main Street. Keep straight on Main to left on Brambleton to turn around at Red Rock to left on Brambleton to left on Spring to right on Livingston to left on Guilford to Grandin (end of the line). Note: No service on Wasena, Brighton and Summit .
3D- LEAVING Grandin Road: Follow Grandin to Memorial to left on 13th Street to left on Patterson to right on 17th to left on Rorer to right on 18th to right on Salem to right on 10th to left on Patterson to Campbell Avenue to normal route. Note: No service on Carlton, Fairway, York and Brandon; also no service for Denniston, Maiden Lane and Wasena.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Follow normal route to Plantation to left on Fleming to right on Oliver to left on Trinkle to right on Oakland to right on Crittendon to left on Link to right on Frontier to right on Oliver to left on Preston to left on Plantation and continue normal route.
4D - LEAVING Red Rock and Brambleton: left on Brambleton to right on Brandon to left on Main. Stay on Main to across Wasena Bridge then pick up normal route.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Follow normal route to Friendship Manor; no detour.
5E - LEAVING Campbell Court: Regular route to parking lot across from fire station. Note: No service to Medical Center or Garden City in extreme snow/ice conditions.
LEAVING Garden City: No trips to Garden City Boulevard and Medical Center. Bus will turn around in parking lot across from fire station. Left on Bennington and follow regular route to Campbell Court.
5F - LEAVING Veteran's Affairs Medical Center: Keep straight on Shenandoah to left on Westwood and follow regular route. Note: No service on Westside, Troutland and Old Stevens Road.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Follow normal route to Shenandoah. Stay on Shenandoah to the VA medical center.
6G/6F - Normal route.
7G LEAVING Lewis-Gale Hospital: Follow normal route to Carlton to left on Devon to right on Windsor to left on Dudding to right on Memorial to normal route. Note: No service on Fareham, Derwent, Malvern and Edgewood.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Follow normal route to 11th Street. Take left on Orange to Melrose to right on Lafayette to Cove. Take left on Cove to left on Aspen. Follow normal route to Roanoke-Salem Plaza. Note: No service on Staunton and Florida.
7H- LEAVING Roanoke-Salem Plaza: Normal route to Aspen. Take Aspen to right on Cove to right on Lafayette to left on Melrose to Orange to right on 11th. Pick up normal route. Note: No service on Florida and Staunton.
LEAVING Campbell Court: Normal route to Memorial and continue to Dudding. Take a left on Dudding to right on Windsor to left on Devon to right on Carlton. Pick up normal route. Note: No service on Edgewood, Malvern, Derwent and Fareham; also, service will resume on Chesterfield, Mountain View Terrace and Fauquier as soon as the route is cleared and safe, even if other snow routes continue.
8I - LEAVING Campbell Court: Follow normal route to Dunkirk to right on Gus Nicks to normal route to Lake Drive. Note: No service on Clyde and King.
9J - LEAVING Lake Drive Plaza: left on Virginia to left on Vernon. Follow normal route to right on Montrose to left on Ninth Street into Industrial Center and turn around. Return to Ninth Street and normal route. Note: Do not use Clearview, use parking lot. Note: No service on Bedford, Cleveland, Morningside and Morgan.
9I - LEAVING Campbell Court: Normal route to Industrial Center, then turn around and return up Ninth Street to right on Montrose to left on 11th Street to normal route to Virginia to Lake Drive Plaza. Note: Do not use Clearview when departing Lake Drive Plaza. Note: No service on Morgan, Morningside Cleveland and Bedford.
8J - LEAVING Lake Drive Plaza: Normal route to Gus Nicks Boulevard left on Dunkirk to Dale to normal route. Note: No service on King and Clyde.
10G - LEAVING Campbell Court: Regular route to Forest Park to right on Golfside to left on Florida to right on Guildhall to left on Cove to left on Hershberger to left on Westside to right on Melrose to Roanoke-Salem Plaza. Note: No service to Peter's Creek with extreme snow/ice conditions.
10J - LEAVING Westside Boulevard: Regular route to Florida to right on Golfside to left on Forest Park to normal route. Note: No service on Fresno inbound and outbound.
