Adams birth
Megan Ann Adams was born December 13, 1995 at 1:39 a.m. in Community Hospital. She weighed 6 lbs. and was 19 inches long. Megan's proud parents are Robin and Jim Adams of Martinsville. She has a big sister, Amanda, who is 21/2 years old. Her grandparents are Jennie Hartling of Newington, Ct. and Jack and Leona Adams of Bay City, Mi. Dr. Alvin Hurt was the attending physician.
Board birth
Meagan Elizabeth Board was born January 5, 1996, at 11:33 a.m. at Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. She weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz. and was 21 inches long. Parents are Bill and Teresa Board. Brother Drew is 16 months. Grandparents are Gwynn and Eileen Board of Roanoke, Va., Anne-Marie Turner of Rockville, Md., and James P. Turner, Jr., of Olney, Md. Attending physician was Dr. Keene.
Bowyer birth
We wish to proudly announce the birth of our son, Zachary Harrison. He was born on January 1st, 1996, 3:10 p.m. at Community Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. 2i 1/4 ozs. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Parents are Rick and Teresa Bowyer. Maternal grandparents are Lindy and Betsy Ganoe and the late Harrison Holland. Paternal grandparents are the late George W. Bowyer and the late Barbara G. Bowyer.
We want to express our sincere thanks to Dr. John Wilks for his help in achieving this miracle. Special thanks are also extended to Dr. Beth Collins and Mrs. Pat Stoner for superb prenatal care. Dr. Donna Musgrave and Mrs. Martha Cadd did a wonderful job with Zachary's delivery.
Sincere appreciation is sent to both families and all of our friends for their prayers and support. And most of all, we thank God for our little angel. We love you Zach.
Carter birth
Taylor Nicole Carter was born January 12, 1996, at 5:50 a.m. at Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. She weighed 8 lbs. 41/4 oz. and was 201/4 inches long. Her parents are Elaine Arthur and Eddie Carter. Sister Casey Renee Arthur is eight. Grandparents are Mary Ellen and George T. Wren and Elizabeth and Harry Carter. Attending physician was Dr. Myer, Jr.
Price birth
Tyler Christian Price, weighing 8 lbs. 71/2 ozs. and 21 inches long, was born December 26, 1995 at 11:19 pm at Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley. His parents are Jeff and Harriet Price. Grandparents are Leo and Agnes Baker of Stanley, Va. and William and Peggy Price of Blacksburg, Va. The attending physician was Dr. Lynn Keene.
Shrader birth
Steve and Maria Shrader proudly announce the birth of their precious daughter, Stacy Madison Shrader. Born November 14, 1995 at 8:09 a.m. at Community Hospital, she weighed 9 lbs. and was 21 inches long. She has a big sister, Olivia Anna, who is 15 mos. old. Her maternal grandparents are Mrs. Anna Rogulski and the late Emil Rogulski, and paternal grandparent s are Mrs. Frances Shrader and the late Vincent (Ben) Shrader. We would like to thank Dr. Beth Collins for delivering our beautiful little angel, and the staff at Community Hospital OB-GYN.
Spangler birth
Sydney Noel Spangler, weighing 6 lbs. 12.5 ozs. and 19 inches long, was born December 20, 1995 at 7:59 am at Lewis Gale Hosp. Her parents are Steve and Amy Spangler. She has one sister Ashley, age 31/2. Her grandparents are Mr. & Mrs. Preston E. Burkholder and Mr. & Mrs. Wilburn H. Spangler. The attending physician was Dr. Thomas Winn.|
Thompson birth
On December 20, 1995, a little bit of Heaven entered our lives. After having 4 sons and 5 grandsons - Danny and Cindy blessed us with a precious little GRANDDAUGHTER - little Miss Emily Danielle Thompson. At birth she weighed 8 lbs. 6 ozs. and was 21 1/2 inches long. Very proud grandparents are Paul and Shirley Thompson - great-grandmother Lillian Martin - great-grandfather Harold M. Thompson and two very special aunts - Beth and Cathy.
