MEMORIAL SERVICES PLANNED FOR TECH STUDENTS

Virginia Tech will hold two memorial services in the coming days for two students who died recently.

On Thursday a service for Matthew Petrasy, 21, killed in a Giles County car accident on Dec. 20, will be held at 4 p.m. in the War Memorial Chapel.

Petrasy was a horticulture major.

Services for Paul Dirksen Smith, a mechanical engineering major who died Nov. 20, will be held Saturday at the Blacksburg Presbyterian Church.

Smith, 21, also was a member of the Cycling Club.

The Rev. Catherine Snyder, Presbyterian campus minister, will officiate at both services.
