Mark Arbogast had 21 points, nine rebounds and went 7-for-9 from the free-throw line as Roanoke Valley Christian rolled past host Southside 78-65 on Friday to capture third place at the Christian Cup XXI in Greenville, S.C.
Eric Johnson had 10 of his 17 points and four assists in the second quarter for Roanoke Valley Christian. Arbogast also had eight points during the period and Joel Nester finished with 11 points and eight rebounds for the Eagles.
Will Clay scored a game-high 24 points to lead Southside. Daniel Carver chipped in 18.
