For the second time this winter, the Big Orange wrestling tournament has fallen victim to severe weather and this time it will not be rescheduled.
The tournament was scheduled to start on Friday at William Byrd with the championships to be held today, but the latest snow storm to hit western Virginia has forced the cancellation of the tournament.
The tournament originally had been scheduled for Jan.12-13, but The Blizzard of '96 hit the area two weeks ago and had forced the postponement of the tournament until this weekend.

Today's Ferrum College basketball game with guest Methodist as well as the preliminary alumni game have been postponed because of snow.
The Methodist game has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at Ferrum. The alumni game has been switched to 2:30 p.m. Feb.10 as a preliminary to a home men's/women's double-header with North Carolina-Wesleyan. The women's game starts at 5:30 p.m. and the men's at 7:30 p.m.
Today's women's game at Methodist has been rescheduled for Feb.18 at Methodist.
VMI's 45th Winter Relays indoor track and field meet today has been postponed because of snow and ice. No makeup date has been set for the meet, which was to be held at VMI's Cormack Field House in Lexington.
