The Big Orange wrestling tournament is on again, though it will be an abbreviated affair.
Timesland's biggest regular-season tournament, postponed twice by snow storms, will be a one-day event Saturday at William Byrd with eight teams instead of the usual 16. Championship matches are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
Teams entered are the host Terriers, Blacksburg, Cave Spring, Covington, Martinsville, Northside, Staunton River and William Fleming. Though not all these teams were in the original field of 16, all have participated in the Big Orange in past years.
Defending champion Franklin County will be unable to participate because it will be at the Group AAA dual meet competition in Richmond.
