STUDENT FOUND DEAD

A Radford University student was found dead of an unknown cause Saturday in her room in Peery Hall.

Valerie A. Cole, 18, was a freshman business major from Manassas.

Another student called campus police at 10:32 a.m. to report that Cole was not breathing. Emergency personnel found her dead when they arrived. An autopsy is pending, but foul play is not suspected.
