Grundy captured 12 of the 14 individual championships and went on to easily capture the Region IV wrestling tournament held Saturday at Graham High School in Bluefield.
Grundy had 359.5 points to outdistance Lee High at 186 and Virginia High at 173.5. Christiansburg finished seventh, Blacksburg eighth and Carroll County 10th.
The only two individual titles that eluded the Golden Wave were in the 112- and 145-pound divisions. Jamie Harris of Christiansburg won at 103 by pinning Scotty Newport of Grundy and Winn Everhart of Virginia High won by major decision over Lee's John Sigmond.
Jessee Barnard of Carroll County and Adam Toler of Christiansburg, who each finished second in the 135- and 140-pound classes, respectively, were the only other Timesland wrestlers in the championship round.

Radford won four individual titles in capturing the Region C wrestling tournament team championship held in Radford.
Radford had 211 points with Floyd County in second with 195.5. Grayson County was third, Glenvar fourth and James River was fifth.
Patrick Henry's boy's track team ran away with the championship at the Northwest Region Indoor Track championship held Saturday at Lynchburg College.
Patrick Henry finished with 79 points, 17 points ahead of second-place E.C. Glass. William Fleming finished eighth and Cave Spring was 13th. On the girls' side, Gar-Field won easily over Woodbridge. Patrick Henry was 10th and William Fleming finished in 13th.
The Patriots were led by Louis Booker, who won the 500 meter dash, and James Hickenbotham, who captured the pole vault and was second in the 55 meter dash. Raheem Barnwell finished second in the 55 meter hurdles and in the triple jump. William Fleming got first-places finishes from Waris Wade (55 meter hurdles) and Mike Newell (55 meter dash) with Fenn Crutchfield coming in second in the long jump.
The PH girls' were led by Shana Walker and Tameka Smith, who were second and third in the shot put.
Melissa Pickel's two-run triple keyed a three-run third inning to lead Radford to a 3-2 win at Carson-Newman and salvage a doubleheader split. Sheree Fletcher struck out three and scattered seven hits in a complete-game win. Radford (4-2) dropped the first game 8-6, despite a four-run seventh featuring another two-run triple from Pickel. Carson-Newman is 5-1.
Virginia Tech's golf team finished 17th in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship at Jacksonville, Fla., with a three-day total of 932. Robby Rasmussen led Tech with a final-round, 1-under-par 71. Tulsa won the tournament with a three-day score of 871.
Thirteen different players scored for North Carolina as the eighth-ranked Tar Heels opened their season with a 24-4 non-conference victory over Radford in a men's lacrosse game in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The Tar Heels (1-0) outshot the Highlanders 90-11 to set a school record for shots on goal in a game, breaking the previous record of 84 set against Stony Brook in April, 1991.
Radford (0-1) got goals from Mark Jenkins, Zach Karatonis, Dan Keller and Ian Kanski.
Karen Ruggio of Blacksburg's East Coasters mountain bike team finished second in the women's sport class in the Hobby Park Mountain Bike Race at Winston-Salem, N.C. Lynchburg's Connie Hylton was third.
In the men's sport class, East Coasters' Brian Bond was fourth and teammate Chris Lenth was 10th.
