      Thursday, was misspelled in a story Friday.

MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN ACCIDENT

          afternoon. Jesse R. Goins, 19, of the 700 block of Dale Avenue  
          Southeast, was pronounced dead on arrival at Roanoke Memorial  
          Hospital after wrecking his cycle near Highland Avenue and 11th  
          Street Southeast. According to police, Goins lost control of the  
          cycle and struck a vehicle parked in a driveway.
